2023 was a year full of SERVING WITH LOVE®

‍2023 was a pivotal year for the Popeyes Foundation℠. It 2023 marked our 5-year anniversary and a renewed excitement as a result of our updated strategy. Since 2018, our mission has been strengthening communities with food and supporting in times of need. Today, our mission is more steadfast than ever.

You see, the Popeyes Foundation cherishes our New Orleans roots, a community that’s all about being there for their neighbors. Whether it’s about being there for a co-worker during a catastrophic time, showing up with a warm, delivered meal for someone in need, providing backpacks stuffed with snacks for youth, or supporting a place where the community comes together for a needed meal. This is how we honor our New Orleans roots. This is how we are SERVING WITH LOVE®.   

Through our new SERVING WITH LOVE® initiative, we support Popeyes® employees who experience short-term, catastrophic hardships through our Team Member Love Program. Since 2018, 520+ employees have been supported. For our local communities, we are helping provide food to those who need it through our Food Love Grants program. In 2023, $360,000 was directed to 65 local nonprofits. We are proud of the inaugural year and eager to continue growing this program.

Rolling out our SERVING WITH LOVE® initiative brought a sense of pride to the Popeyes organization. Knowing we have an initiative to fundraise for, and continued opportunities to come together give back locally brings renewed meaning to our work. As the Foundation moves into our next chapter, we are looking at how to strengthen communities with food and supporting in times of need, more than ever before! This work would not be possible without the Popeyes brand, Franchisees, Foundation Board of Directors, suppliers, agency partners, Team Members, and guests.
